We are thrilled to announce our 2026 season, where we will embark on a journey to explore the theme of forbidden love. We open with our twentieth on-stage production — Tennessee Williams’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, the classic searing portrait of lies and unspoken truths about desire and mortality set in the American South.
The season continues with an exciting milestone — Invictus’s inaugural musical presentation, Caroline, or Change by Tony Kushner and Jeanine Tesori. This deeply personal and political work explores race, class, and generational change, carried by a soaring and unforgettable score.
In August, Paula Vogel’s Indecent takes the stage — a bold and urgent examination of censorship, antisemitism, queerness, and the enduring power of theatre itself.
We close the season with the Bard, Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, the timeless tragedy of young love crushed by hatred, violence, and division.
We can’t wait to welcome you back!!
Our 2026 season is generously sponsored by The Michael and Mona Heath Fund, with additional support from the Paul M. Angell Family Foundation, the Illinois Arts Council, and Untouchable Times Tours, Inc.
